Iwatake

This ski resort is located in front of the highest peak in the Hakuba area. This is one of Hakuba's top spots for rich scenery and openness makes it a charming course.

Iwatake's main run is Sunny Valley. This run is suited for beginners to intermediate level skiers and is 3.8 km long. Iwatake has a smaller terrain park more suited to beginners or intermediates, lots of accessible tree lines, and being that little bit smaller often misses the crowds on powder days, making it possible to make fresh turns 2 or 3 days after a dump.
